Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in quiet trust:

“Stay there until I tell you…”
(Matthew 2:13)

This can be one of the easiest commands You ever give me, Jesus…

so long as I like where I am.

But when I don’t like where I am

when I’m surrounded by trouble
writhing in pain
when I feel so stifled I can hardly breathe

this is the hardest command of all.

I just want to run away
make all my problems disappear.

But I know if I go before You say

my problems will only multiply.

There’s a good and wise and perfect reason I’m where I am

for now.

So until You say go

I’ll stay.
