Allow God to teach you patience, as you pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo:

“Though it linger, wait for it…”
(Habakkuk 2:3)

That’s the hard part, isn’t it, Jesus?

It’s so exciting to read Your Word
embrace Your amazing promises.

What a thrill it can be to join with a group of believers

ask You for great things
know You can do absolutely everything we request
and so much more.

But then comes the step that tries my soul:

I wait

and wait

and wait

all the while working as hard as I know how to work
doing everything I know to do…

and nothing.

Well, actually, there is one thing:  I’m learning to wait.
