I keep forgetting, Jesus.

I’m not just fumbling and bumbling through another day.

This is war!
I’m in a battle!

You’ve sent me into the heat of the conflict on a mission crucial to its outcome.

When You tell me to do something, I’d better do it.
Lives are at stake.

When You tell me not to do something, I dare not take another step.

Under that harmless-looking lump of dirt in front of me
lies a land mine.
