Lazaroo – Wednesday, May 28, 2014

Put on your shoes…get ready…as you pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo::
“You hurled me into …the very heart of the seas…”
(Jonah 2:3)
How much scarier for Jonah could it get, Jesus?
When they threw him overboard, it wasn’t in sight of land.
They were way out to sea
in the midst of a raging, supernatural storm.
Nor was Jonah suffering because he was so righteous.
He was running from You.
This was punishment.
Here’s the thing, though:
You didn’t do that to him to destroy him
but to bring him back to his holy mission.
When I stray, You’ll do anything, won’t You?
to bring me back to mine.
