Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with total confidence:

“This is what the LORD says: ‘I have healed this water.’”
(2 Kings 2:21)

I love that, Jesus!

A strong, unequivocal statement.
It’s healed.
Period.

Of course, I’ve heard people make such statements before

which proved to be wrong.

Maybe they lied.

Maybe they were sincerely wrong.

Either way, though…

just because a statement is strong
doesn’t make it reliable.

Just because the speaker has a great track record

doesn’t mean he’s right this time.

That’s why I’ve got to vet everything I hear by the Bible –

the straightedge of Your eternal, flawless Word.
