It’s good to have connections, Jesus.

If I know somebody on the inside, a person of influence
someone with some serious clout

I can walk up to the front door

ring the doorbell
drop their name
and walk right in.

I become somebody…because of the somebody I know.

But if I don’t have a name to drop
the door gets slammed in my face.

Well, I think I’m going to be all right

because I know You.
