“…the Gershonites were responsible for the care of the tabernacle…”

Thank You for the Gershonites, Jesus

not only then…
but now.

I’m thinking of the people who serve Your Church behind the scenes

collecting trash
repairing roofs
cleaning carpet
setting up chairs
swabbing toilets
turning out lights
locking up.

They don’t say much

they just do much.

If it weren’t for their faithfulness, their attention to detail

it would all fall apart.

They don’t receive

the attention
praise
applause
respect
rewards

enjoyed by pastors, teachers, writers, artists, technicians, singers, musicians

from anybody…
but You.
