I understand, Jesus…

at least I think I do

There are times when I can’t sleep

my mind buzzing with

ideas
plans
fears
responsibilities
questions
hopes
dreams.

To be at my physical, emotional and mental best, I have to sleep.

That’s how You’ve designed me.

But there are times when to be at my spiritual best, I need something else more than I need rest.

I need this 1on1 time with You.
