With a heart full of gratitude, pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo to God:

“…take the child and his mother and escape to Egypt.”
(Matthew 2:13)

I can feel the heart-thumping urgency in those words, Jesus.

Already, even as a baby
Your young life was at stake.

Satan’s minions felt compelled to destroy You
to no avail.

You escaped.

As Your child, Satan’s minions are driven to destroy me, too.

to no avail.

My life is in Your hands.
No harm will befall me.

Pain
trouble
heartache
frustration
disappointment

yes.

But no true harm –

for You
are my escape.
