Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with passionate longing:

“May the Lord grant that he will find mercy from the Lord on that day!”

What a blessing to pronounce over someone, Jesus.

     Paul spoke it over a man who had cared for his needs

          who had treated him with respect and honor
          who was unashamed to be associated with him
          when Paul was in jail.

That’s the longing of my heart, too, Father!

     That on the Day we stand before You
     You will be merciful to those I love

          and although I deserve it less than the least
          that You will also be merciful

               to me.
