Pray this Lazaroo with bottomless trust:

“My dove in the clefts of the rock…”
(Song of Songs 2:14)

Solomon is referring to his wife, Jesus

but what he says about doves is true.

They’re beautiful, gentle…vulnerable.

They hide in the clefts of the rock
to remain unseen by predators –

like foxes, dogs, bobcats, coyotes, weasels
…and man.

If that’s the case

please hide this dove in the clefts of the rock, Father!

and cover me there with Your hand.
