Lazaroo – Saturday, June 18, 2011

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with watchful eyes:

“Many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist.”
(2 John 1:7)

That’s a lot of people, Jesus.

The majority of people living on this planet
don’t acknowledge You as the God of all creation

who left Your throne in heaven
and humbled Yourself to become one of us

all the way to the cross.

Most who have heard of You
are willing to admit that You were a great teacher and prophet

maybe the greatest who ever lived.

But they stop short of worshiping You as their LORD and God

way short.

Some of those who reject You as God come in the flesh

are the lowlifes of society

others are leaders, counselors, professors, bestselling authors

but every single one of them

is a deceiver
and the antichrist.

And I am not even sure they should be pitied, although as a Christian – I feel such sadness for them and wonder how they could arrive at such a hopeless destination. More prayer for the deceived is always necessary – they may come around … Paul did.
