Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud all the way to the marrow of your bones:

“He is to present the bull at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting before the LORD.”
(Leviticus 4:4)

I’m glad we don’t have to do this anymore, Jesus.

It’s such a shame that we still do.

In spite of the fact that Your death, burial and resurrection freed us from the necessity of animal sacrifice…

we’re still presenting a lot of bull
on Your altar.

Many of us can barely tolerate it.

I can’t imagine how it makes You feel

but I can guess.

You won’t put up with this forever, will You?
If we don’t clean house

You will.

I don’t have the power to change everything, LORD.

But in the part of Your Church
for which I’m responsible

help me get back to

unpolluted
unpretentious
uncontentious

worship and service to You

before You’re forced to step in and give my area of responsibility

to someone else.
