When You choose a prophet, it doesn’t matter

how strange he is
whether she looks the part
if people accept or reject his words
how young or old

You never allow that prophet’s words to fall to the ground.

It’s not their word.
It’s Yours.

Your Words always come true

not a day late
not one moment early
absolutely always

on time.

Myself? I like instant results.

The moment I think it
I want to experience it.

The instant I hear one of Your amazing promises

I want to claim it

touch it
taste it
smell it
see it for myself

on the spot.

Waiting for everything to come together in perfect alignment isn’t my forte.

But since that’s exactly what You do

I may as well get good at it.
