Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in rock-solid determination: 

“The man on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain…”
(John 1:33)

That’s the key, isn’t it, Jesus?

To remain.

Your Spirit has come down on many

but not all of us have remained in Your Spirit.

Some of us have enjoyed Your best

then – incomprehensibly –
left You to run after our own devices

falling headlong into the hands of Satan.

I may not be the brightest flash in the pan, Father…

perhaps You will not choose to accomplish
Your most amazing works through me.

But I beg You:

May I be one
who remains.
