It’s good to have friends, Jesus…

not only “here”
but “there.”

Friends close by are wonderful!

They can keep an eye on me
provide me with companionship
help me in a jam.

But friends far away are also wonderful – for different reasons.

They broaden my perspective –

remind me the world is bigger than my little pond
provide me with insights I’d otherwise miss.

So how do I acquire friends “there?”

I guess the same way I make them here:

To find a friend…
I’ve got to be a friend.
