Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with burning emotion: 

“…we worked night and day…”
(1 Thessalonians 2:9)

Why would anyone do that, Jesus?

To support themselves and their family, certainly
maybe out of fear

perhaps to become famous
get a degree

impress somebody
achieve what they hope is financial security.

And then of course
some people are simply workaholics.

But none of that was Paul’s motivation to work night and day.

He did it for You.

He did it to share Your good news
with as many people as possible.

May that be the overriding, driving purpose of my life!
