Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with full-on ardor: 

“These are the men David put in charge of the music in the house of the LORD…”
(1 Chronicles 6:31)

May I always remember that, Jesus.

It’s Your house.

Not mine.
Not ours.

Yours.

Not only does that determine the music we play

but everything we think and say in that place
every service we perform.

May we never love the house more than the people who meet there

and especially not more
than the One who gave it.

But may we deeply respect it as the place You’ve entrusted to our care

to bring glory to Your great Name!
