In holy awe, pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo:

 “They were responsible for the care of the ark.” 
(Numbers 3:31)

I can only imagine how it would feel to be given that responsibility, Jesus!

Inside the ark were:

the gold jar of manna
reminding Your people of Your provision in the desert.

Aaron’s staff You caused to bud
when his leadership was questioned.

And most importantly, the Ten Commandments
inscribed in stone by Your finger.

You brought great blessing to those who handled the ark properly

severe punishment to those who did not.

I can’t help wondering if the same might be true…

of the responsibilities You’ve entrusted to me.
