Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with every fiber of your being:

That’s what I long for, Jesus

to know it’s You behind this thought I’m thinking
…or not.

If it is, I want to act on it

If it’s not, I’ll discard it in a heartbeat.

I just want to know!

I don’t want to guess.

I don’t trust myself –

my opinions
my experience
my wisdom
my perspective

I’m grateful for all of that You’re giving me

but I’ve learned the hard way:
It’s not enough.

I’ve been fooled, bamboozled, tricked, deceived.

No more.
