Ask God for clarity of mind, as you pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo: 

“…all your waves and breakers swept over me.”
(Jonah 2:3)

Well, no, Jesus…

You didn’t sweep all of them over Jonah.

There were countless waves and breakers in that raging, stormy sea that never touched him.

But to Jonah

it sure felt like it.

I can identify.

When troubles mount on every side
I sometimes ask, “What else could go wrong?”

But then You prompt me to look around and see the heartache, pain and suffering others are enduring.

Wow.

Please forgive me for complaining about my problems, LORD!

‘cause I sure don’t want to swap them for theirs.
