Really?

Certainly, when someone discovers they have only a short time to live, it gives them an opportunity to get their affairs in order.

But how does knowing the ax is about to come down
affect their ability to enjoy their remaining days on earth?

Some people do amazingly well with that knowledge.

Others are devastated.

You know which I am, LORD…
