Lazaroo – Friday, October 18, 2013

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in renewed determination:

“When Job’s three friends…heard about all the troubles that had come upon him, they set out from their homes and met together by agreement to go and sympathize with him and comfort him.”
(Job 2:11)

This sounds wonderful, Jesus.

I’d love to have friends like this.
It sounds like they were purely motivated.

At first.

But after spending a week with Job, they started singing a different tune.

They became more of a burden to Job
than a help.

Sadly, I know what that feels like.

Please help me be a true encouragement to my friends
from start…to finish.
