Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud all the way to the marrow of your bones:

“A voice is heard in Ramah, weeping and great mourning…”
(Matthew 2:18)

That’s what I have to know, Jesus:

When I’m weeping
when I’m mourning…

my voice is heard.

It’s encouraging when a family member hears my voice

wonderful when a friend hears my voice
shocking when a stranger hears my voice.

But it’s essential for me to know that I know that I know

that You hear my voice.

Family, friends – even strangers can comfort me

sometimes they can help
but not always.

That’s why I have to know that You hear me when I weep and mourn.

Because only You have the power to dry my tears
and fill my broken heart with joy.
