Lazaroo – Saturday, July 6, 2013

No comments, Jul 06, 2013

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in the healthy fear of God:

“At that time I will search Jerusalem with lamps and punish those who are complacent, who are like wine left on its dregs, who think, ‘The LORD will do nothing, either good or bad.’”
(Zephaniah 1:12)

Woah, Jesus.

I’ve got a long, long way to go…

but I don’t believe I would ever be foolish enough to call You:

“the do-nothing God.”

To accuse You of doing absolutely nothing – either good or bad –

is not good.
it’s bad.

Very bad.

By that, these people mean:

You could act, but You won’t –
because You don’t care.

Seriously?
After all You’ve done?

Or they mean:

You won’t act, because You can’t –
they’re saying You’re powerless.

Now, I don’t know much…

but I know better than to accuse You
of not being able to do something.

Anybody who goes around talking like that

is asking You to demonstrate Your power

on them.
