Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with laser-focused intensity:

“But about the Son he says, ‘Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever…”
(Hebrews 1:8)

“…for ever and ever…”

I have no idea how that feels, Jesus.

You have no beginning.

I do.

You always were.

I’m just getting started.

Everything in my world starts and stops:

people are born, grow up, live for a while and die
products are invented, enjoy a brief shelf life, run their course and become obsolete.

But You’re above time.

Yesterday, today and forever are all one continuous story for You.

Before the first computer, car, book, fire, man, stellar explosion

You Are.

I have no idea how it feels to have had no beginning

but because of this faith You have given me

in Your Word
in Your death, burial and resurrection

in You

I will get to find out how it feels

to live forever.
