Touch my lips.

Shape my tongue.

Put Your words in my mouth.

There are so many times in my life when I don’t know what to say.

Sometimes I say nothing and fail to provide desperately needed

help
advice
teaching
correction
experience
encouragement.

At other times I say the wrong thing and create

fear
anger
confusion
withdrawal
discouragement
misunderstanding

I hate it when that happens!

Keep leading me deeper every day into Your Word.

Saturate me with Your truths.
Open my mind to understand the Bible passages I study.

And Holy Spirit, I beg You –

please remind me of everything You have taught me in Your Word

at the exact moment I need it.
