Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with pedal-to-the-metal commitment:

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth… into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade…”

Help me fix my eyes on this uplifting truth, Jesus.

Most of the things I’ve bought in my life have already perished, spoiled, faded

or just plain disappeared

with nothing to show for any of it.

But it doesn’t have to be that way.

I don’t have to throw away my one and only life!

You’ve promised that whatever I do for You will never be lost.

Even if I attempt to do something good and fail in everyone else’s eyes

I will succeed in Yours
and be rewarded extravagantly by You

if when You look into my heart
You can see I did it
for You.
