Lazaroo – Wednesday, November 11, 2009

Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with absolutely earnest desire:

“The pride of your heart has deceived you, you who live in the clefts of the rocks and make your home on the heights, you who say to yourself, ‘Who can bring me down to the ground?’”
(Obadiah 1:3)

Is that what happens to me, Jesus?

When You give me win after win after win

do I draw the wrong conclusion?

Even though I know better, do I secretly believe You are being good to me because I deserve it?

But that’s a lie!

The last thing I want is what I deserve.

I know full well what I deserve.

Hell.

What is wrong with me?

Why do I so quickly forget

where I’ve come from?
who I really am?

No wonder You’ve had to bring me down to humble me so many times in my life, LORD.

From now on

I think I’d like to try humbling myself.

Greetings; Jesus, It is so easy for me to see the pride in the other man, until I look at the man in the mirror. I am not so pridefull then.Matter of fact Jesus,I do not look in the mirror enough, looking for that pride that will take me into hell. There is not one single thing that I have done that will pave my way to Heaven. Its you JESUS ,ALL YOU.All my good deeds are DUNG.Your Blood Lord, has done it all!!!
