Pray this Lazaroo with utter abandon:

“I struck all the work of your hands…yet you did not turn to me…”

When You have to correct me, Jesus

I’m tempted to believe You’ve turned on me.

instead of signaling me to turn to You.

All I can think is that my prayers are not getting through

instead of stopping to see why.

I never want to stray, LORD!

But when I force You to discipline me

open my eyes

and turn me around fast.
