The four horns of the altar, Jesus…

the altar on which sacrifices were made to You.

So holy that Adonijah fled to take hold of them

believing that Solomon would not desecrate this sacred place
by putting him to death there.

Joab did the same…but with a far different result.

The altar is gone.

I can no longer run to it when, guilty
I plead for mercy.

Instead…

I run to You.
