Pray this Lazaroo with bottomless trust:

“…they bow down to the work of their hands, to what their fingers have made.”
(Isaiah 2:8)

With these words, Jesus

You call out the manual laborer
and the knowledge worker.

One uses his hands to build buildings, collect garbage, repair cars.

The other types with her fingers
to write books, create reports, promote products, text coworkers.

Noble pursuits, all!

until I bow down to it –
mine or someone else’s.

May I never bow down to any but You.
