Pray this Lazaroo with laser-focused intensity:

“…if anyone competes…”
(2 Timothy 2:5)

Sometimes I don’t feel like competing, Jesus.

Going up against somebody else
requires a lot of energy.

It forces me to come up with a plan
discipline myself to follow it.

Nor do I have any assurance that I’ll win
so I have to strengthen myself emotionally.

Wow. Come to think of it…

all those things cause me to stretch, develop, grow.

So even when I don’t want to compete

maybe I should.
