Can I say that, Jesus?

Well, okay – I know I can.

But if I say it…
is it true?

That’s a little hard for me to sort out.

I wonder…what would the people around me say?

If someone asked them what I live for
would they instantly tell them I live for You…

or would they name something else?
Would they say I live for

family
friends
work
money
pleasure
some hobby
the weekend
myself?

Of course ultimately, the opinions of others aren’t what matters.

If people were wrong about You
they can certainly be wrong about me.

The only opinion that matters in answer to this question

is Yours.

Because Yours isn’t an opinion.

It’s fact.

You know the longing of my heart.

If not now, may it soon be true:

that my life
is You.
