Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in mind-bending awe:

“God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.”
(Ephesians 1:23)

I don’t think I’ve ever fully grasped this reality about You, Jesus.

I don’t think I ever will
because I don’t think I can:

You fill everything
in every way.

Wow.

I say again: Wow.

Everything I see
everything too distant for me to see
everything too small for me to see

is filled with You.

How do I get my head around that?

On my own?
With my present brain capacity?

No way.

Only miraculously – by Your Spirit.

On my toughest days, through my greatest struggles
may I never forget the implication of this great truth:

If You fill everything in every way
and if by Your Spirit
You fill me

I’m full.
