Jerusalem…Zion…Ariel…the Holy City…the City of David and of God.

Oh, how You love that spot on earth, Jesus!
So do I!

You –

mourned for her
taught in her streets
entered before cheering crowds
were arrested and stood trial there
were crucified outside her gates
rose to life from one of her tombs
will return one day – soon! –
through her Eastern Gate.
