Pray this Lazaroo in awareness of Your Savior’s greatness:

“He overlaid the inside with pure gold.”
(2 Chronicles 3:4)

Some would be scandalized by such extravagance, Jesus.

“Who needs a temple overlaid with gold?”
“A plain wooden structure is more than adequate!”
“All that money should have been used to help the poor!”

And in so doing, they would echo the words of Judas, Your betrayer, who objected to the expensive perfume Mary poured on Your feet.

But no expense is too great

when lavished upon You.
