Be re-amazed, as You pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo:

“I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe on him and receive eternal life.”
(1 Timothy 1:16)

There’s nothing fair about this, Jesus.

How is it that someone with my rotten record
gets to receive eternal life?

It’s unjust
inequitable
a total rip-off.

You give Your one and only perfect Son…

and get me.

Why?

Because that was my only hope, wasn’t it?

You had to pay the ultimate price
to buy back my worthless soul –

and I’m the one who sold myself into slavery!

I have to ask:

Do You ever struggle with buyer’s remorse?

Well, of course not.
You’re God.

You knew exactly what You were doing before You did it.
You knew how little You were getting for so great a price.

And still…

You did it.
