Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in total trust: 

“He shall dip his finger into the blood and sprinkle it before the LORD seven times in front of the curtain.”
(Leviticus 4:17)

I wonder what the priest was thinking when he did this, Jesus?

He couldn’t have known the bigger picture –
that it was the precursor to Your shed blood on the cross.

But he obeyed – though he didn’t have a clue –

because that’s what You told him to do.

As examples go, that sets the bar awfully high, LORD –

obedience in the absence of explanation.
