Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, from the depths of your soul:

“…disaster has come from the LORD…”

A lot of people don’t believe this about You, Jesus.

It’s against their religion.

To them, You’re –

Santa Claus
the Easter Bunny
the Pillsbury Dough Boy

all rolled up in one

benevolently smiling
generous gift-giving
all-forgiving
wouldn’t-harm-a-flea package.

Of course, those same people have never read the Bible

or don’t believe what they’ve read.

You are loving!

You do give generously – beyond all comprehension.

There’s not a sin You can’t or won’t forgive…

except one:

the sin of rejecting the work of Your Holy Spirit
who calls us to put our faith in You.

Those who reject You

who call You a liar
who spit on the sacrifice of Your life on the cross
who scoff at Your resurrection from the dead

will discover firsthand during the eternity in hell they themselves have chosen:

“…disaster has come from the LORD.”
