Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with unrestrained allegiance:

“…it was in order to spare you that I did not return…”
(2 Corinthians 1:23)

Sounds like one of those hard-to-sell statements, Jesus.

He doesn’t show up as expected.
Then instead of apologizing
blames someone else.

But I absolutely believe this man gave them the true reason

not an excuse.

Why do I buy his story?

Because He’s earned my trust –
no matter how implausible the circumstances.

O God!

Rise up within me each day
in such a way

that others may safely put their trust in You
through me.
