Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud all the way to the marrow of your bones:

“Now the LORD God had formed out of the ground all the beasts of the field and all the birds of the air. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name.”
(Genesis 2:19)

This is truly stunning, Jesus.

You’re the Creator.

You made every animal
every bird.

The naming rights belong to You.

But You didn’t exercise Your rights!
Instead, You gave them away…

to us.

Why?

As with animals
we’re created, too.

Who are we, that You’ve given us such authority?

True…You created us in Your Image

but we keep marring Your image
desecrating it.

Why trust us this much?

We absolutely do not deserve it.

Are You modeling something for us?
Is it possible that You’ve taken a chance on us

so we, with others equally undeserving

will do likewise?
