Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, from the depths of your soul:

Everything You say is true, Jesus.
You don’t have to ask us.

But You do anyway.
Why?

It’s because we forget, isn’t it?

or because we don’t like
what Your words require us to do.

Sometimes, we actually weigh Your words –

as though considering
whether or not we have to pay attention

wondering if they still have validity
in this “enlightened” age.

Well, if we actually do weigh your words

we will discover in them
the heavier than osmium

weight of truth.
