This earth You have created is amazing, Jesus!

I press a seed of my choosing into its rich loam
water and wait…and wait…and wait

until one day when I go out to check
a tiny leaf has poked its way into the sunlight.

Day after day, I fertilize, weed, pray
and watch it grow

until one day it’s time to pick and enjoy
what You and I have created

together.
