Pray this Lazaroo with unfathomable joy:

“…God raised us up with Christ…”
(Ephesians 2:6)

That past tense language gets my attention, Jesus.

I know that because I’ve put my faith in You alone
one day I’ll be raised up to heaven.

But that’s future.

At least…
I’ve thought it is.

But You’re talking about it like it’s already done.

Of course, since You know the future
to You it’s a done deal.

But it’s more than that, isn’t it?

Even now
I’m alive in You.
