Wow, Jesus.

When David asked Nabal to supply his men, Nabal refused.
Just as David started to retaliate, Nabal’s wife intervened.
After You killed Nabal, David married his widow.

And You gave them a son.

As they looked down on their newborn, they had to shake their heads in wonder.

Scant years before
neither of them could have seen this coming.

I can’t begin to see my future, LORD

but if I stay true to You
