Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, with deep reverence: 

“…they have been destroyed in Korah’s rebellion.”
(Jude 1:11)

It’s been 3,440 years since Korah’s rebellion, Jesus…

and it’s still being repeated today.

In Your sovereignty, You designate a leader

give him or her a mission
send them a team of people to fulfill it.

But the mission is often arduous!

There are battles
unexpected losses
sharp disappointments
seemingly insurmountable problems

which is when the Korahs of the world rise up

against the leaders You have instituted.

If I’m ever tempted to join Korah’s rebellion, LORD

please remind me of how You ended the first one.
