Take courage! As you pray aloud the words of this Lazaroo:

“Despite their fear of the peoples around them, they built the altar…”
(Ezra 3:3)

I love this, Jesus!

Courage isn’t about being fearless.
If I’m not scared, it doesn’t require courage.

Courage is feeling those icy fingers of fear
and making myself do it anyway.

But I have to ask:

How much of the fear I feel
is fear of failure?

of putting myself out there
and falling flat on my face?

More than I want to admit.

Still, one thing is certain:

I’ll miss 100% of the shots
I’m too afraid to take.
