I chose wisely when I chose You, Jesus –

but it wasn’t my wisdom.

My decision to follow You was the best decision I ever made –

but it wasn’t all my decision.

That leap of faith I took to trust You with my life was awesome –

but I didn’t launch that leap on my own.

It was You, Father –

wooing me
leading me
steering me
prompting me
drawing me to Yourself.

It was always You.
