Pray the words of this Lazaroo aloud, in no-holds-barred surrender: 

“…those who are made holy…”
(Hebrews 2:11)

Okay, Jesus…that’s the one.

That’s the miracle for which I’m praying:

Please help me clean up my act!
Make me holy.

Well, actually…I don’t pray for that as often as I should.

Because of my woefully pathetic track record
I’ve very nearly given it up.

So I pray for other miracles that seem a little more likely.

I even pray that some of the people I know become holy.

But that’s avoiding the real issue, isn’t it?

It’s not my brother, not my sister, but it’s me, O LORD!
